As a Development Engineer in Lodz, Poland, you will support product development and manufacturing by optimizing production processes, ensuring quality, and implementing new products. Ansvarsområden
- Optimize and continuously improve manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
- Lead and support new product introductions and engineering changes.
- Coordinate and monitor assigned production areas for process stability and organization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical support for product design and construction.
- Collaborate with Quality Department on quality requirements and improvements.
- Support customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs/BSC).
- Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar engineering role within an international manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical and manufacturing documentation.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Practical project management experience.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience with product industrialization and manufacturing transfer projects.
- Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and product optimization.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
- Experience working with ERP systems and engineering documentation management.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing environments.
