About the job

You will join the Product Standardization Department within the R&D Fuel & Exhaust Line
Organization. While our team is based in Monza, Italy, we also operate out of offices in Tumba,
Sweden, and Shanghai, China. The mission of our department is to define standard product
architectures and implement Product Data Management (PDM) and documentation processes
within the PLM framework. In this role, your primary focus will be to develop, adapt, and
maintain products tailored for the Chinese market and supply chain.
Main tasks:
• Maintain the existing product portfolio.
• Execute design changes and support purchasing and supply chain activities.
• Take ownership of product and component design.
• Oversee prototype production, sample creation, and laboratory testing.
• Support dual supply chain development and manage the component library.
• Assist in creating instruction manuals, spare parts catalogs, and training materials.
Who you are:
• Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly across diverse time zones and
cultures (Italy, Sweden, China).
• Accountability & Ownership: A self-starter mindset required to take full ownership of
component designs and portfolio maintenance.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Clear communication skills to bridge the
gap between engineering, purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing plants.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to manage changing priorities when adapting global products to
local market requirements.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in maintaining documentation, technical standards, and
component libraries without errors.
What you know:
• Degree from higher technical education or equivalent
• PLM & PDM Systems: Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data
Management tools (e.g. Teamcenter, Windchill, or Enovia) to manage documentation and
standard processes.
• CAD Engineering Design: Strong experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting (e.g.,
Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks, or CATIA) for product and component design ownership.
• BoM & Component Library Management: Experience structuring Bills of Materials
(BoM), component classification, and standardization.
• Language Proficiency: Professional English is mandatory for global coordination.
