Electrolux Group is seeking a Development Engineer in Żarów, Poland, to join their R&D team. This permanent, full-time role involves developing mechanical components and subsystems for CARE products, from concept to production, including design, testing, and supplier collaboration. Ansvarsområden
- Create mechanical design solutions to meet technical and performance specifications.
- Design components from conceptualization to industrialization, ensuring standardization and modularization.
- Create, update, and maintain 3D and 2D models in CAD (PLM).
- Define test plans to assess and certify design robustness.
- Support component supply specification and test manual definition.
- Drive analysis of technical solutions with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing.
- Support component and product approval processes.
- Support Technical Leader on project deliveries, documentation, and prototyping.
- Support Regional Product Care team on cost and quality improvement activities.
- Drive external networking.
Krav
- Mechanical engineering degree (Master’s Degree and/or specialization degree is a plus).
- 0-3 years of working experience in mass production development.
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding component and/or sheet metal stamped design.
- Good knowledge of CAD Modelling and Drafting (CatiaV5/NX is a plus).
- Base knowledge of FEA, Plastic Mold-flow, sheet metal formability simulation.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skill.
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge of Cost & Quality analysis, Tolerance Analysis, FMEA, DFMA, 6 Sigma, Material and Process selection, IP, Prototype Building.
