As a GenAI Design Technologist at Amazon eShop, you will pioneer the intersection of Generative AI and creative production, developing tools and workflows for AI-powered visual content creation at scale. This role requires a blend of creative problem-solving and technical depth, bridging the gap between artistic intent and scalable technical solutions. You will optimize AI workflows, evaluate emerging models, and collaborate with engineers and scientists to transform how product images and videos are created, impacting millions of customers.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop, optimize, and scale Generative AI workflows and pipelines for production-grade visual content.
  • Act as the bridge between creative teams and AI/ML engineering, translating artistic intent into scalable technical solutions.
  • Build automation that removes bottlenecks and enables content creators to focus on their core tasks.
  • Evaluate emerging foundational models and translate the latest research breakthroughs into production-ready capabilities.
  • Partner with engineers and scientists on prompt engineering frameworks and centralized GenAI tooling.
  • Develop, test, and optimize Generative AI workflows and pipelines for visual content production using inference platforms and services.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts and tools that resolve workflow bottlenecks, improve content quality, and increase creator productivity.
  • Evaluate AI-generated output for visual quality, brand consistency, and production readiness.
  • Support the fine-tuning, testing, and evaluation of foundational models and LLMs for image generation, video synthesis, and multimodal content creation.
  • Design and implement prompt engineering frameworks that enable consistent, high-quality results at scale.
  • Research and prototype emerging Generative AI capabilities, assessing production viability and recommending adoption paths.
  • Develop batch processing solutions and content pipelines that enable teams to generate, review, and publish AI-created assets efficiently.
  • Document workflows, best practices, and technical specifications to enable partner teams to adopt generative workflows independently.
  • Participate in cross-functional reviews to align AI tooling development with evolving creative standards and business requirements.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end technology, engineering, or UX prototyping.
  • Coding samples in front-end programming languages.
  • Available online portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
  • Experience with web, mobile web, or mobile app front-end development.
  • Experience with UI design for complex workflows and for end users.
  • Experience building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments.
  • Experience with prompt engineering techniques for content generation.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of technologies such as JavaScript/Node.js, HTML/CSS, Responsive/Adaptive Design.
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and source control (Git).
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Knowledge of video production, live streaming technologies, studio workflows, edit and post-production techniques, production calendars and staffing.
