We are seeking a Design Lead with 3-6 years of experience in PCB design using Mentor Expedition tools, including layout constraints, placement, routing, and release. The role involves designing complex high-speed and high-layer count PCBs with expertise in Microstrip, Stripline, HDI, Flex, Rigid Flex, RF, and high-power designs, ensuring signal integrity and compliance with IPC standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and integrate design thinking into software/product development.
  • Lead a team of designers, providing guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.

Krav

  • 3-6 years of industry experience with Mentor Expedition tools.
  • Experience in setting up layout constraints, placement, routing, and releasing to fab.
  • Ability to understand project requirements and perform High-speed and High-layer count PCB Design for complex circuit architectures/designs.
  • Experience with Microstrip and stripline designs, stack-up designs.
  • Experience with Type3 & Type4 PCB designs.
  • Ability to create symbols and footprints.
  • Good experience with IPC Standards.
  • Experience in HDI (Blind/Buried), stacked, staggered, back drilling, Flex design, Rigid Flex, RF circuit boards, micro-via technology is a must.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards for PCB manufacturing activities, PCB assembly and Rigid PCB assembly.
  • Experience with DDR3, SGMII, USB, SATA, PCIe, high-speed, analog, RF, controlled impedance routing and High-Power boards.
  • Thorough understanding of Signal Integrity aspects of PCB routing.
  • Good experience with CAM350/Valor (Gerber verification).
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
