Your role
As a Research and Development Engineer specializing in centrifugal compressor packages within the Gas and Process division's Mechanical Team, you will lead the design and innovation efforts essential to advancing our product portfolio. - Maintaining clear and concise communication through milestone reports and daily status updates to project leads.
- Ensuring all designs uphold the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance, prioritizing "First Time Right" outcomes.
- Applying fundamental knowledge of centrifugal compressors and familiarity with API, ASME, DIN, and ISO standards to support sound engineering practice.
- Conducting rigorous quality checks on your work and that of the team to minimize errors and improve deliverable quality.
You will report directly to the Team Leader, contributing both technical expertise and strategic insights to enable the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. To succeed, you will need
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in centrifugal compressor technology and a solid understanding of international engineering standards such as API, ASME, DIN, and ISO. Proficiency in key engineering software including SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Enovia is essential. We value candidates with relevant industry experience—typically a Bachelor's degree complemented by 3 to 5 years in similar engineering roles.
