Alstom is seeking a full-time DCS N&IT Architect in Bangalore, India. This role involves delivering complete Network and IT/AVP specifications and designs, aligning with the System Delivery Plan and contractual requirements. The architect will play a key role in technical decision-making, ensuring compliance with engineering rules and project milestones, and specifically designing and reviewing N&T Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) specifications.

Ansvarsområden

Deliver complete Network and IT/AVP specifications and designs consistent with the System Delivery Plan and contractual requirements.
Work closely with teams across the business (subsystem leads, signalling architects, program teams).
Lead technical decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with engineering rules and project milestones.
Design and review N&T Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) specifications.
Ensure alignment with cybersecurity and network standards.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Deliver efficient Network and IT/AVP design documents aligned with defined architecture and methods.
Provide technical direction and expertise on Alstom DCS solutions and technologies.
Collaborate with global teams and facilitate the exchange of information.
Lead and coordinate detailed design activities, including configuration, surveys, and validation.
Contribute to proof-of-concept studies and evaluate new design capabilities.
Provide training and share technical expertise within teams and sites.

Krav

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent.
10-12 years of relevant experience (postgraduate diploma specialization can be considered if experience is relevant).
Proven experience in LAN/WAN design and deployment of Gigabit Ethernet and IP-MPLS solutions.
Knowledge of virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hypervisor), network security, and cybersecurity concepts.
Familiarity with monitoring tools, traffic analysis, and IP techniques.
A CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certification.
Strong understanding of RFC protocols, IP routing, and network design principles.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with major telecom suppliers (e.g., HP, Cisco, Hirschmann, Huawei) is a plus.
Experience with wireless systems (Wi-Fi, Tetra, LTE) is a plus.
