AWS Infrastructure Services is hiring a Data Centre Operation Technician in India to maintain and operate global cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include server rack installation, hardware repair, network troubleshooting, and responding to operational incidents.

Ansvarsområden

Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure as part of the Operations team.
Perform server rack installation, hardware break-fix on various components, and troubleshoot network issues.
Respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
Serve as the primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and act as the first line of touch for hardware troubleshooting.
Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
Contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
Contribute to documentation through root cause analysis and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Potentially assist in training less experienced team members.
Lift and rack equipment up to 18kg, working in cramped or elevated spaces while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Cover 24x7 shift rotation.

Krav

2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
1+ years of computer networking experience
High school or equivalent diploma
