Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is seeking a skilled Data Centre Operation Technician to join their AWS Infrastructure Services team in Mumbai. This role involves maintaining and operating large-scale cloud computing infrastructure, including hardware troubleshooting, network issue resolution, and responding to operational incidents.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure as part of the Operations team.
  • Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and act as the first line of support for hardware troubleshooting.
  • Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
  • Contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement discussions.
  • Ensure knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, safety, and security.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).
  • Handle 24x7 shift rotation.

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to lift & rack equipment up to 18kg.
  • Willingness to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
