Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Centre Operation Technician in Mumbai, India to maintain and operate their global cloud infrastructure. This role involves hardware troubleshooting, network issue resolution, and responding to critical operational situations to ensure high availability and customer satisfaction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure.
  • Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and perform first-line hardware troubleshooting.
  • Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Contribute to documentation through root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working in various locations, including cramped spaces or elevated areas.
  • Cover 24x7 shift rotation.

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
