Ansvarsområden

  • Apply algorithms and synthesize information to identify business opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven insights and communicate business and technical requirements.
  • Partner with scientists and engineers in a collegial environment.
  • Utilize OR, ML, and Generative AI methods for vehicle routing, planning, and forecasting.
  • Map models into production-worthy code in Python or Java.
  • Explain complex technical approaches to various stakeholders.
  • Take iterative approaches to tackle big research challenges.

Krav

  • 2+ years of data scientist or similar role experience (data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, communication).
  • 2+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL, Hadoop/Hive).
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science).
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
  • Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company.
  • PhD in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science).
  • Experience in modeling (Excel) and data analyses.
