Amazon Business is seeking a Data Scientist II for their AB Ops Analytics team in Hyderabad. Ansvarsområden

  • Apply data science techniques and tools to solve business problems.
  • Identify business opportunities and insights to automate and optimize products.
  • Analyze data for trends, input validity, and identify inefficiencies.
  • Access data sources and build SQL/ETL queries or scripts.
  • Build models and automated tools using various techniques including machine learning and neural networks.
  • Validate models against alternative approaches and key performance indicators.
  • Implement models considering computational demands, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Enable product engineering teams to consume models for customer-facing experiences.
  • Inspect key business metrics and provide clear, compelling analyses leveraging AWS suite of products.

Krav

  • 2+ years of data scientist experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.
  • 1+ years of experience guiding and coaching a group of researchers.
  • 1+ years of experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
  • 1+ years of experience creating or contributing to mathematical textbooks, research papers, or educational content.
  • Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience in STEM.
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Ph.D. in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application.
  • Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
  • Experience in an ML or data scientist role with a large technology company.
  • Experience defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance.
  • Experience working on multi-team, cross-disciplinary projects.
  • Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication.
