Amazon's Digital Acceleration Analytics team is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to design and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning and Generative AI models. This role involves defining a science vision, executing end-to-end ML projects, and driving complex statistical analysis to influence digital business product decisions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Invent, build, and deploy state-of-the-art machine-learning models and systems.
  • Work closely with software engineers and data engineers to implement algorithms.
  • Define a long-term science vision and roadmap driven by customer needs.
  • Design and execute machine learning projects end-to-end: ideation, analysis, prototyping, development, metrics, and monitoring.
  • Drive end-to-end statistical analysis for ambiguous, large-scale, and complex problems.
  • Research and develop advanced Generative AI based solutions for customer problems.

Krav

  • 2+ years of data scientist experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL).
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab).
  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.
  • Experience applying various machine learning techniques and understanding their parameters.
  • Experience developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes.
  • Experience building systems that capture and utilize large data sets to quantify performance.
  • Understanding of relevant statistical measures (e.g. confidence intervals, error measurements).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 5+ years of data scientist experience.
  • Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
  • Experience in an ML or data scientist role with a large technology company.
