Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist you will participate in multiple data science projects right from initial problem statement formulation, data exploration/profiling & transforming for use in Advanced Analytics/ML/AI scenarios. Experience with ML Operations (MLOps) would be an advantage but not a requirement. Duties include:
• Provide data science-based solutions to business problems of varying complexity
• Apply data science & machine learning concepts to help develop models in diverse business domains such as Sales, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain Improvements
• Contribute ideas and thoughts leading towards solutions to business problems
• Interfacing with clients and senior leaders in the business, so excellent communication skills will be of paramount importance
• Ability to explain solutions to stakeholders – no ‘black boxes’ to be deployed  

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Collaborate across the business to understand IT and business constraints 
• Actively participate in Agile development and product teams. 
• Generate hypotheses about the underlying mechanics of the business process 
• Design and create ML Models and data pipelines for more efficient and repeatable data 
science projects 
• Apply statistical analysis and visualization techniques to various data 
• Continuously monitor execution and health of production ML models 
• Display drive and curiosity to understand the business process to its core 
• Upskill yourself (through conferences, publications, courses, local academia, and 
meetups).

For This Role, You Will Need:
•Data curious and creative 
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in data science, machine learning and statistical analytics -designing and building Agile data science solutions for customers 
• Demonstrable expertise in solving data science problems is required 
• Substantial experience in one or more of the following commercial/open-source data discovery/analysis platforms: RStudio, Microsoft Azure ML or other cloud-based platforms, alongside extensive SQL experience 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
