Nordea Asset Management is seeking a Data Platform Product Owner in Paço de Arcos, Portugal, to develop and own their common data platform as part of a strategic, multi-year program. This role requires strong ownership, a delivery mindset, and expertise in data platform technologies, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management within the finance and asset management sectors.

Ansvarsområden

  • Be the Product Owner of the cross-functional Data Platform team.
  • Own and prioritize the backlog of the Data Platform.
  • Ensure business requirements are translated into user stories.
  • Follow up on implementation.
  • Interact with Data Producers, Data Consumers, and Steering Bodies.
  • Identify gaps in available tooling to support use cases.
  • Facilitate internal debates around solution design and make fact-based decisions.
  • Identify and address blockers.
  • Participate in resource allocation discussions.

Krav

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Maths, or other numerate subject.
  • 7+ years of prior experience in projects involving data platform implementation, solution design, or product ownership of data-oriented solutions.
  • Strong analytical capabilities: Ability to map complex business processes, weigh different options, gather feedback, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to take ownership of challenges end-to-end.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders with confidence, humility, and a strong focus on outcomes.
  • Proficient in Lean / DevOps / Agile thinking (continuous improvement, high throughput, work in progress management).
  • Good understanding of Data Mesh framework and Data Modelling concepts.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance concepts.
  • Ability to animate an Agile team.
  • Fluent in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Genuine interest in finance, asset management and product reporting topics is a plus.
  • Experience managing and implementing modern data platforms (Snowflake, DataBricks, etc).
  • Prior experience with Snowflake, DBT, Kafka, Golden Gate, Airflow, Airbyte.
  • Experience with Containerisation & Orchestration - Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms - AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Other European languages are considered an asset.
