We are seeking an intermediate-level Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data products and solutions for our conversational shopping platforms. You will work with large datasets, build ETL pipelines, and utilize Agentic AI to power critical analytical reports and machine learning initiatives, mentoring entry-level engineers.

Ansvarsområden

Design and implement data products and solutions for shopping platforms.
Own medium to large data initiatives and participate in architectural discussions.
Build scalable data systems for PB and streaming data with 100K TPS.
Build data products powering mission-critical analytical reports and metrics for Amazon AI products.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams for instrumentation and seek innovative approaches to data flows.
Integrate data products with other internal teams and ensure timely data delivery.
Utilize Agentic AI to build data products and solutions.
Mentor entry-level engineers.

Krav

3+ years of data engineering experience.
4+ years of SQL experience.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
Deep expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of extremely large datasets.
Ability to build scalable data systems while maintaining high standards of data quality and reliability.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
