Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is seeking a skilled Data Centre Operation Technician to maintain and operate AWS global infrastructure. This role involves hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, server rack installation, and responding to operational issues within a 24x7 shift rotation environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure as part of the Operations team.
  • Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Serve as the first line of touch for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues, working to meet SLAs.
  • Participate in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
  • Contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, including safety and security.
  • Contribute to documentation through root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Potentially assist in training less experienced team members.

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution.
  • Experience operating efficiently under pressure.
