AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Centre Operation Technician in Mumbai, India to maintain and operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. This role involves hands-on hardware and network troubleshooting, rack installation, and responding to operational incidents to ensure high availability and low cost for AWS customers.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
  • Install server racks and perform hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and provide first-line hardware troubleshooting.
  • Participate in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
  • Contribute to documentation through root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg
  • Willingness to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations adhering to health & safety guidelines.
  • Ability to cover 24x7 shift rotation
