Ericsson seeks a Data Center Services Technician in Washington, DC to install, operate, and maintain data center infrastructure. This role requires 1+ years of experience, knowledge of data center hardware and cabling, and the ability to interpret technical documentation.

Ansvarsområden

Support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.
Execute rack-and-stack activities.
Perform structured cabling installations.
Provision and test equipment.
Provide operational support.
Ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with standards.

Krav

High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience required.
1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, telecommunications, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling.
Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices, basic optical networking concepts, and installation standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation, and methods of procedure (MOPs).
Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation activities with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers while managing assigned work independently.
Comfortable working in a physically active environment where lifting, standing, working at heights, and moving equipment is required.
Ability to work on ladders or elevated work platforms and comply with all applicable safety requirements and certifications.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% - 100% of the time.
