Ansvarsområden
- Maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure.
- Server rack installation, hardware break-fix on various components, and troubleshooting network issues.
- Responding to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for internal customers and external service partners.
- Working to meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets.
- Performing on-call duties and participating in Data Center operations, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
- Contributing to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis.
- Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and goal discussion.
- Supporting DC infrastructure equipment (e.g., racks, servers, networking devices, hardware components, cables).
- Following ticket-based instructions for systematic problem resolution and routine operation activities on hardware.
- Maintaining tidiness in operation areas.
Krav
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Ability to lift & rack equipment up to 20kg.
- Willingness to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
- Willingness to cover 24x7 shift rotation.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience working in a colocation data center facility.
- Experience in networking.
