AWS Infrastructure is seeking a Data Center Strategic Negotiator to drive key colocation deals and infrastructure strategy in APAC. This role involves structuring complex, multi-million dollar negotiations, market analysis, and developing strategic partnerships with colocation providers, while collaborating with internal teams like Legal, Finance, and Engineering to optimize costs and expand AWS's data center footprint.

Ansvarsområden

  • Serve as a key member of the team in driving data center deals and overall infrastructure strategy for target regions.
  • Understand the supplier base (both Colocation providers and Real Estate developers), develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and activity, and develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets.
  • Set business development plans in-line with the larger organization strategic direction.
  • Negotiate and close multi-million dollar contracts to support capacity expansion.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and negotiate solutions that meet technical requirements as well as the business objectives.
  • Ownership of business case creation and presentation to leadership (including commercial, technical and risk profile).
  • Prepare and give project reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and deal execution roadblocks.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and pivot on the fly to changing requirements to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Continue to build a culture of speed, flexibility and frugality with all business partners.
  • Develop and implement new mechanisms to improve our customer experience.
  • Business Travel: 10-20%

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management, real estate, or another related field.
  • Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record.
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
  • Experience directly related to the design or construction of large data center facilities, either colocation or client owned/operated.
  • 13+ years of transactional accounting field experience.
  • Experience delivering results and generating transformational growth.
