AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Operations Tech (L4) to troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware (servers, storage, networking) on a 24/7 basis. This role involves maintaining high system reliability and availability, participating in projects to enhance operational efficiencies, and training less technical staff. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in data center operations or related fields.

Ansvarsområden

  • Troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware, including servers, storage, and networking devices on a 24/7 basis.
  • Maintain a high level of system reliability and availability.
  • Participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Share experiences and knowledge with a global network of technical experts.
  • Train less technical staff on best practices related to service owner issues.
  • Contribute to building a great team by participating in the Amazon hiring process/candidate interviews.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
  • Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
