AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a Data Center Manager in Mumbai, India, to lead and develop high-performing teams, manage data center operations, and drive process improvements. The role involves ensuring safety and security standards, improving operational excellence, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage cloud infrastructure.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and develop teams of engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise.
  • Maintain existing co-located and in-house Data Centers.
  • Assist in building and bringing online new Data Centers.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Liaise with internal teams and management groups.
  • Ensure adherence to and exceed local Health & Safety standards.
  • Create and maintain metrics on all aspects of Data Centers.
  • Assist in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity management).

Krav

  • Proven manager with experience managing teams of high performers.
  • Ability to refine and develop processes for operational excellence.
  • Previous experience in Data Centers, either building or managing.
  • Exposure to developing great relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • 1+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
  • 3+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience.
  • Experience dealing with high severity situations, understanding wider blast implications and potential consequences.
  • Experience in Change Management & Fault Management.
  • Experience dealing with external vendors, contractors & security companies, including problem and conflict management.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent STEM field, or 4+ years of network and operating system support experience.
  • 2+ years of Agile methods and processes experience.
  • 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts.
  • Experience implementing change management successfully transitioning programs into large-scale operations.
  • Experience managing both high & low performing employees.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferable.
