Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is looking for a Data Center Manager in Hyderabad, India to manage cloud computing infrastructure and lead high-performing teams. This role involves optimizing operational excellence, building new data centers, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and develop teams of engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise.
  • Maintain existing co-located and in-house Data Centers.
  • Assist in building and bringing online new Data Centers.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Liaise with internal teams and management groups.
  • Ensure adherence to and exceed local Health & Safety standards.
  • Create and maintain metrics on all aspects of Data Centers to drive positive changes.
  • Assist in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity management).
  • Refine and develop processes to optimize operational excellence.
  • Drive performance levels to achieve the pace of building and operating Data Centers in India.

Krav

  • 5+ years of operations management experience.
  • 3+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience.
  • Experience in facilities management, or experience in project management.
  • Proven manager with experience managing teams of high performers.
  • Ability to refine and develop processes to optimize operational excellence.
  • Experience in Data Centers, either building or managing (or both).
  • Exposure to developing great relationships with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience dealing with high severity situations and understanding wider blast implications.
  • Experience in Change Management & Fault Management.
  • Experience dealing with external vendors and displaying incidents of problem & conflict management.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve working processes.
  • Experience in process mapping and implementing remediation steps.
  • Health & Safety should be at the forefront of every manager's mind.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent STEM field, or 6+ months of network and operating system support experience.
  • 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean processes.
  • Experience creating and implementing large-scale programs.
  • 2+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience.
  • Experience managing both high & low performing employees will be of advantage along with conflict management.
  • Experience in Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma is preferable.
  • Ability to positively influence the Safety culture of the Data Center organization.
