AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer in Mumbai to ensure electrical, mechanical, and safety equipment operates optimally. Responsibilities include on-site contractor management, performance benchmarking, and supporting facility infrastructure. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and significant data center operations experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating within contract parameters.
  • Managing contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site, ensuring compliance with established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
  • Establishing performance benchmarks, conducting analyses, and preparing reports on data center facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Coordinating projects, managing capacity, and optimizing plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency with DCO managers and business leaders.
  • Supporting the installation of racks and the provision of power/cooling.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Performing rack installs, rack decommissioning, and facility management.
  • Providing operational readings and key performance indicators to ensure uptime is maintained.
  • Performing and overseeing maintenance and operations on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
  • Work schedule changes depending on specific site needs, with shifts up to 12-hours, potential rotations, and on-call duties.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 10+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
  • Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent.
  • Experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities.
