Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer in India. You will be responsible for the hands-on management of Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure, ensuring the operation and maintenance of critical facilities. This role involves event management, incident management, and collaboration with various teams to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ownership of all Data Center changes/events/incidents/problems from beginning to end.
  • Ensure maintenance/repairs of site-critical facility infrastructure are planned and executed.
  • Responsible for Asset and Inventory management.
  • Develop and maintain method statements, standard operating procedures, and emergency response procedures.
  • Manage the engineering aspects of Data Centers related to financial and cost control, code and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the development and delivery of the portfolio of Energy/Environmental Management Programs.
  • Reviewing incident reports, documenting periodic trend summaries, and recommending actions.
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors to resolve incidents during emergency situations.
  • Ensure 24*7 shift operations in a safe, secure manner without availability impact.

Krav

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
  • 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
  • 2+ years of data center engineering experience
  • 3+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Electrical or mechanical journeyman license
  • Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent
  • Experience in construction or project management
