Google is seeking a Data Application Engineer to lead web development, from requirements gathering to ongoing support. This hybrid role requires expertise in Java or Python, ETL tools, and data management, with opportunities in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for web applications.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input.
- Write clear, modular, well-structured, and self-sustaining code.
- Develop overall systems design, research, and evaluate vendor supplied applications, and develop recommendations.
- Build internal solutions with custom front-end and back-end services.
- Identify processes and solutions to ensure control compliance can be enforced and monitored.
- Design, build, and deploy internal business applications to support Google’s technology lifecycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, and data and business intelligence.
- Conduct and oversee testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications.
- Collaborate with analysts and business process owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working with Java or Python, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools.
- 4 years of experience in process improvement, systems integration, or change management.
- Experience with coding, data management, data analytics.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in working with business stakeholders for requirement analysis and converting them to technical requirements.
- Hands-on experience successfully building software for large-scale database systems using Big Data, Relational and NoSQL data stores.
- Solid foundation in design, data structures, and algorithms.
