Ericsson is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant in Düsseldorf, Germany to join their leading Security specialist team. The role involves ensuring security for packet core, cloud infrastructure, and OSS, applying industry best practices, and deploying security solutions with a focus on firewalls, DDoS, SIEM, and Identity Management systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Understanding packet core security, on premise cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes security, OSS security as per 3GPP, GSMA standard.
  • Map customer requirements with product and solutions available from Ericsson and provide industry best practice approach and guidance.
  • Be effective in presentations about security and 3GPP packet core and cloud topics with detailed analysis and solution.
  • Provide technical project management skills, collaborating with technical teams and driving security solution deployment.
  • Configure and manage security products such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, DDoS, (IDS/IPS), SIEM, Log Collector, and Identity Management solutions.
  • Lead security discussions with customers and possess customer-facing skills.

Krav

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or higher in a related field
  • Full Professional Proficiency in English
  • Significant experience in security for the telecom & 5G core network.
  • Experience in one of the following domains: Security and Privacy frameworks, Telecom security, Cyber Security, Cloud Security, Application security.
  • Experience in designing at least in one of the following solutions: Logging, PKI Infrastructure, Identity, and access management, Security testing in telecom networks.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • DDoS is a preferred competency for this position.
  • Experience with 3GPP 5G Release 15/16 will be a plus.
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CCIE, CISM) or knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) are a plus.
