Emerson is looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer in Houston, TX to develop cloud-based SCADA software solutions and create technical proposals. This hybrid role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years in technical sales, and supports sales teams with expertise and software demonstrations.

Ansvarsområden

  • Create proposals and formal commercial agreements.
  • Develop cloud-based SCADA software solutions.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert supporting sales teams with technical documentation and software demonstrations.
  • Provide commercial and technical support to sales and business development teams.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision for new technology adoption.
  • Prepare, review, and approve scope of work, network architectures, and bill of materials.
  • Demonstrate the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform.
  • Implement and oversee pilot projects using software tools for data collection, validation, and visualization.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma/Trade Designation in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Automation (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Petroleum disciplines).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, SCADA, automation systems and field instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols of Flow Computers, RTUs and PLCs including industry standard and custom programs.
  • Experience with Ethernet, Radio, Cellular, and Satellite communication.
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas production operations, artificial lift, and facility design.
  • Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and program suites.
  • Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines.
