I korthet

As a Full-time Customer Service & Childcare Associate at IKEA in Centennial, Colorado, you will create a safe and engaging environment for children in IKEA Småland while customers shop. This role involves registering children, monitoring play, planning activities, building relationships with children and caretakers, and adhering to safety policies. You will also support other customer experience functions when needed.

Ansvarsområden

  • Create a pleasant and safe environment for children in the play facility.
  • Register children, monitor and entertain them while in the playroom.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Participate in planning and execution of children’s activities.
  • Build meaningful and empathetic relationships with children and their caretakers.
  • Strictly adhere to all IKEA play facility and safety & security policies and procedures.
  • Support in other areas of the customer experience function as needed, such as cashier and greeter roles.

Krav

  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field is implied.
  • Ability to build meaningful and empathetic relationships with children and caretakers.
  • Strict adherence to safety and security policies.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to work 34-40 hours per week.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug test.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in Customer Relations is a plus.
  • Experience in a retail environment is beneficial.
