I korthet

Microsoft is seeking a Critical Environment Technician to maintain its datacenters. Responsibilities include monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure. This is a fully on-site, full-time role requiring 2 years of mission-critical services experience.

Ansvarsområden

Perform assigned basic tasks such as making rounds and recording building observations.
Perform basic monitoring and inspection of critical environment-related facility equipment, building, and grounds.
Learn to operate all systems and equipment safely and professionally.
Utilize internal CMMS to track equipment assets and complete work order requests.
Assist in providing emergency monitoring and response under supervision.
Perform various types of maintenance following procedures.
Document tasks and issues found in maintenance and troubleshooting.
Provide necessary escorts for third-party contractors.
Understand, follow, and ensure safety and security requirements.
Embody company culture and values.

Krav

Graduation or Diploma with 2 year(s) mission critical services work/applied learning experience (e.g., high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields).
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Önskade kvalifikationer

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 1+ year(s) technical services experience (e.g., high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical).
Associate's Degree or technical trade certification (e.g., military, trade school), or higher-equivalent education.
Equivalent experience.
