Ansvarsområden
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of engineering plans, schedules, and technical documentation for renewable energy projects.
- Design, simulate, test, and implement renewable power control applications for solar, battery energy storage, and wind generation assets.
- Configure and troubleshoot electronic databases using industry-standard communication protocols and datalinks.
- Serve as a primary technical contributor during customer Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
- Support site commissioning activities and provide remote technical support as needed.
- Initiate requisitions for project purchases and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Manage the design, testing, integration, and shipment of project hardware.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, or standard solutions.
- Manage time and priorities effectively to meet project schedules and commitments.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and technical expertise.
- Monitor project financial performance and support cost and schedule control efforts.
Krav
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years applying engineering principles in controls engineering, industrial automation, renewable energy, power generation, water treatment, manufacturing, or related technical environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 5 or more years of experience in control system engineering.
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical or project execution capacity.
- Familiarity with Emerson Ovation software and hardware products.
- Knowledge of control system applications, distributed control systems, or PLC or SCADA platforms.
- Interest in mentoring or supporting the development of less experienced engineers.
