Alstom is seeking a full-time Control Room Engineer in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role involves managing tasks within the Fleet Support Centre to improve fleet reliability, reduce Total Cost of Ownership, and ensure KPIs and quality requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and at least 3 years of experience in rolling stock.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and execute tasks within the Fleet Support Centre to improve fleet reliability, Total Cost of Ownership, and achieve KPIs.
  • Provide technical support to projects and propose innovative service solutions for maintenance.
  • Analyze system technical performance and maintenance plan efficiency, developing improvement action plans.
  • Optimize maintenance requirements, tasks, and intervals using RCM and other methodologies.
  • Analyze operational data (Return on Experience) and support depot personnel to reduce repair times.
  • Log, analyze, and coordinate corrective actions for incidents and events.
  • Create contractual and technical reports, including analytics reports using tools like Tableau.
  • Support the improvement of the diagnosis tool (HealthHub) and cooperate in the organization of corrective maintenance.
  • Manage fleet retrofits to enhance reliability and cooperate in implementing new monitoring tools.
  • Verify and improve maintenance plan execution, test electromechanical components, and update KPIs.
  • Notify incidents that could lead to safety issues and ensure compliance with Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health standards.
  • Manage and develop the Fleet Support Centre team and take responsibility for QCD targets.

Krav

  • University degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the technological field, with a specialization in rolling stock.
  • Good knowledge of PC use, including Word and Excel.
  • English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Problem-solving capacity, including technical and cost evaluation of solutions.
  • Ability to manage technical risks.
  • High interpersonal skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a strong team-player mindset.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Desire to learn.
