Microsoft is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee data center projects within Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I). This role involves managing change, coordinating vendors, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving project delivery with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage change processes and share updated process flow information.
  • Coordinate meetings and activities of vendors and cost managers.
  • Drive results by facilitating local projects and making data-based decisions.
  • Apply best practices to identify cost-effective solutions.
  • Establish relationships with internal teams to align with corporate vision and goals.
  • Verify availability of scoped resources and procure additional materials as needed.
  • Support data center construction/integration activities and provide recommendations.
  • Provide project data supporting cost and KPI metrics, invoices, processes, and policies.
  • Assist with developing risk mitigation activities and communicating metrics.
  • Follow guidelines and advocate for adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide feedback to engineering documentation/designs and analyze technical information.
  • Assist with monitoring vendor and/or contractor performance.
  • Support the preparation of RFPs and other project approval tools.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on data center projects.
