Microsoft is looking for a Construction Metro Director to lead the development of hyperscale data centers in Vaasa, Finland. This full-time, on-site role involves managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring safe and compliant delivery, and leading a high-performing team. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and significant experience in construction project management.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the safe, secure, compliant, and predictable delivery of the Vaasa Metro portfolio, currently covering six concurrent data center projects.
  • Establish the metro delivery strategy, governance model, priorities, and integrated plans across scope, schedule, cost, capacity, quality, sustainability, and operational readiness.
  • Align campus and project teams, regional leaders, business partners, utilities, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong financial and commercial control across budgets, forecasts, change orders, procurement, contracts, and vendor performance.
  • Own metro-level risk, safety, security, quality, and regulatory performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, inclusive organization, ensuring the right leadership, resources, capabilities, and delivery partners are in place.
  • Provide senior technical and constructability leadership, resolve complex cross-project dependencies, and drive improvements.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND significant related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Business fluency in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Solid experience working on data center projects.
  • Solid project management experience.
  • Solid people management experience.
  • Business fluency in Finnish and Swedish.

Förmåner

  • Typical base pay range for this role across Finland is € 105,700.00 - € 201,500.00 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
