Volvo Cars seeks a Computer System Engineer - Project Manager to lead projects for developing and implementing control and computer systems for R&D test facilities. This role involves defining, managing, and delivering test solutions, including IT networks and cybersecurity, within investment projects, focusing on time, functionality, and cost.

Ansvarsområden

  • Define and lead projects and assignments for test solutions in R&D test facilities.
  • Manage computer systems, IT networks, and control systems with cybersecurity setups.
  • Participate in investment projects, ensuring responsibility for time, functionality, and cost.
  • Conduct budget work, follow-up, planning, and coordination of internal resources and suppliers.
  • Gather requirements and create use cases with internal customers for requirement specifications.
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of test equipment.
  • Create specifications and technical solutions with stakeholders.
  • Manage requests for quotations and participate in procurement and follow-up of test automation systems.
  • Participate in engineering, installation, commissioning, final testing, and coordination activities.

Krav

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience in data technology or industrial automation.
  • Strong knowledge in data technology, industrial communication, data acquisition, requirements gathering, use case creation, process analysis, and test automation architecture.
  • Experience from testing and/or automation systems.
  • Familiarity with project-based work.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, automation, and test systems.
  • Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and experienced in complex projects.
