Google's AI2 Comms Team is seeking a Communications Manager for Technical Infrastructure in EMEA to shape communications strategy, educate the market, and manage media relationships. This role requires experience in public relations, media relations, and cross-functional project management to drive stories locally, regionally, and globally.

Ansvarsområden

Drive the global external communications strategy for Google’s infrastructure in key markets in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, including data centers and subsea cables.
Develop, write, and edit compelling communications materials, including statements, story pitches, and announcements.
Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to key business partners.
Cultivate media and partner relationships to drive awareness, excitement, and factual reporting about Google’s global infrastructure.
Manage crisis communications scenarios, think creatively, take smart risks, and address tough issues as they arise.

Krav

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in public relations and media relations with technology or infrastructure.
Experience working on cross-functional projects.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience working in the cloud computing or enterprise technology space.
Ability to think strategically and develop creative comms strategies that drive results.
Ability to develop and maintain media relationships across business and technology press.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and build relationships with key stakeholders.
