Microsoft CO&I is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee the delivery of datacenter infrastructure in India. This role involves managing commissioning processes, ensuring adherence to standards, and coordinating with various teams for lease and build projects in Pune and Hyderabad.

Ansvarsområden

Manage the end-to-end delivery of new data center capacity for CO&I.
Oversee the commissioning of assigned datacenter regions for lease projects and support other CO+I commissioning projects.
Develop and maintain best practices for quality and cost-effectiveness.
Manage contracted Commissioning Agents and develop Commissioning Procedures and Standards.
Conduct construction site inspections for QA/QC and commissioning process review.
Drive the project Commissioning process, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate meetings and activities of vendor project managers.
Manage client representatives and partners to define scope, schedule, and budget.
Attend OAC and other project meetings, reporting progress on scope, schedule, and budget.
Manage data center commissioning project delivery strategy in alignment with the CO+I road map.
Provide vendor oversight and performance management.
Prepare RFPs, PERs, and other project approval tools.

Krav

10+ years relevant technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Technology, Computer Science or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Doctorate Degree AND 4+ years technical engineering experience.
At least 5 years of experience in Data Center facility construction and/or commissioning.
At least 5 years of construction experience.
At least 5 years of experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment.
Data Center Commissioning experience.
Construction QA/QC experience.
Project Management experience.
Data Center Operation and Maintenance experience.
Understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators and critical mechanical systems.
Ability to develop and write detailed Commissioning Scripts.
Issue identification and resolution management skills.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, MS Project, MS Teams.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Technology, Computer Science or related field AND 9+ years technical engineering experience.
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Technology, Computer Science or related field AND 7+ years technical engineering experience.
Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Technology, Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience.
Commissioning Certification.
OSHA 30 or equivalent qualification.
NFPA-70E knowledge.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
