The Coating Technician ensures tools are prepared correctly for the coating process, meeting customer specifications. This role involves machine setup, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean work area. A high school diploma or GED is required, with excellent attention to detail and math skills being essential.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure correct coating is applied to tools by checking job packets.
  • Clean tools using the established V80 cleaning system process.
  • Load the carousel with proper sized tools, ensuring correct cut length exposure.
  • Prepare coating (pi 80) and set parameters for proper Microns on micro tools.
  • Tube and label tools for shipping.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cleaning and coating area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Krav

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Excellent attention to detail required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Strong math skills required (fraction to decimal conversions, geometry).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Light work: moving objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, bend, or kneel when required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Certification from a qualified training institution in tool and cutter grinding is ideal but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus but not required.
  • Limited knowledge of Pivot Panel Software and Navision is a plus but not required.
