I korthet

Emerson is looking for a CNC Setup Operator in Elyria, OH to operate machines, perform basic setups, conduct quality inspections using CMM and gauges, and handle minor maintenance. The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, at least one year of CNC operation experience, and strong attendance and teamwork skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate CNC machines (gear shapers, lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, saws).
  • Perform job changes on machines, make offsets, and basic program changes.
  • Identify tool wear and interpret Quality Lab CMM reports.
  • Use and interpret various gauges and recording instruments.
  • Load/unload fixtures and raw material according to work instructions.
  • Change tooling inserts and maintain part tolerances.
  • Train other CNC Operators on machine tending, laboring on/off, and transaction completions/scrap.
  • Measure work pieces for conformance to specifications.
  • Support and adhere to Safety, 5-S, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Quality, and Machine efforts.
  • Handle materials coming out of the machine.

Krav

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machines, or equivalent consistent track record.
  • Ability to add, subtract, and convert decimals and fractions.
  • Outstanding Attendance.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
