Sandvik Coromant is hiring a CNC Operator in Westminster, SC. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC grinding equipment for cutting tool manufacturing, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Ansvarsområden

  • Set up, program, and operate semi-complex to complex CNC grinding equipment.
  • Manufacture cutting tools in accordance with blueprints and specifications.
  • Operate equipment including centerless grinders, cylindrical grinders, cut-off machines, and CNC tool grinders.
  • Enter quality, SPC, and production data into company information systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Develop, edit, and optimize programs for NC/CNC equipment.
  • Comply with company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Achieve cycle time, productivity, and machine utilization targets.

Krav

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 2-3 Years’ Experience Working with CNC Machines in a Mechanical or Process Industry (Preferred).
  • Strong Work Ethics.
  • Understanding of workflow impact.
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Westminster, SC.

  • Experience with ISO 9001 (Quality Management).
  • Experience with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
  • Experience with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
