Edwards is seeking a CNC Machinist III for their new Buffalo, NY facility. This role requires 8+ years of experience in advanced machining, technical leadership, and a strong understanding of safety and quality compliance. The position involves operating and troubleshooting various CNC machines, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

  • Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
  • Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders.
  • Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.
  • Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups.

Krav

  • 8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
  • Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
