Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and program semi-complex to complex CNC grinding equipment for manufacturing cutting tools. The role involves setup, operation, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, including ISO certifications.

Ansvarsområden

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC grinding equipment.
  • Manufacture cutting tools according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Develop, edit, and optimize programs for NC/CNC grinding equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Achieve production targets for cycle time, productivity, and machine utilization.
  • Enter quality, SPC, and production data into company systems.

Krav

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 2-3 Years’ Experience Working with CNC Machines in a Mechanical or Process Industry Preferred.
  • Strong Work Ethics.
  • Understanding workflow impact.
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be based on site in Westminster, SC; remote or international work is not available.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with equipment such as centerless grinders, cylindrical grinders, cut-off machines, and CNC tool grinders.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments.
  • Adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
