Edwards Vacuum is looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist III for their 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. This role involves operating and troubleshooting advanced machining equipment, mentoring junior machinists, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of CNC machining experience, proficiency in GD&T and CNC programming, and demonstrated technical leadership.

Ansvarsområden

  • Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
  • Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders.
  • Mentor and train junior machinists.
  • Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups.

Krav

  • 8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
  • Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
