Ericsson is seeking an Early Career Cloud RAN Solution Introduction Engineer in Plano, Texas. This role involves designing, integrating, validating, and troubleshooting Cloud RAN solutions, leveraging skills in RAN, Cloud, AI, and automation. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience in Telecom or IT are required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze customer requirements and contribute to the design of Cloud RAN solutions.
  • Support preparation and review of high-level and low-level designs, Methods of Procedure (MoPs), test plans, and test execution.
  • Lead Cloud RAN Solution Integration and validation within customer networks per project timelines.
  • Prepare and optimize Cloud RAN configurations to achieve strong network performance.
  • Perform fault isolation and troubleshooting, identify workarounds, and collaborate with R&D to drive issues to resolution.
  • Resolve business-critical technical issues and escalations by coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage early solution and product introductions and deliver demonstrations of strategic features.
  • Improve solution introduction efficiency by leveraging end-to-end automation and AI.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Telecom or IT.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux, IP networking, and security, ideally in RAN or cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with telco cloud platforms using virtualization, containerization, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with scripting tools such as Python, Bash, or Ansible for deployment, configuration, and testing automation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage escalations effectively.
  • Proactive, organized approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record of driving business-critical issues to resolution.

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML (preferred).
  • Understanding of 3GPP-based mobile networks (preferred).
