I korthet

As Cloud & FinOps Lead, you will shape how business area Mining uses cloud and data for informed decision-making, driving transparency, governance, and sustainable value. You will lead the development of the Mining's Cloud and FinOps capability across various cloud services, reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure Services.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide visibility into cloud consumption, costs, forecasts, ownership, and risks.
  • Define Mining-specific data and reporting requirements.
  • Enable scalable analysis through the common data platform and a dedicated Mining workspace.
  • Assess cloud consumption options and clarify technical, operational, and financial trade-offs.
  • Translate business and workload needs into prioritized requirements for cloud services, platforms, data, and specialist support.
  • Strengthen governance, automation, self-service, and shared FinOps practices.

Krav

  • Relevant experience in cloud services, cloud governance, cloud operations, FinOps, or a closely related technical field.
  • Sound technical judgment combined with an analytical mindset.
  • Understanding of how cloud choices affect costs, risks, and business value.
  • Strong understanding of public, private, and hybrid cloud concepts, cloud-native consumption, workload lifecycles, service models, and cost implications.
  • Experience using data, analytics, or reporting to generate insights and guide decisions.
  • Ability to assess technical options, dependencies, and trade-offs with architects, engineers, and application or development teams.
  • Experience translating business and workload needs into clear technical or service requirements.
  • Clear communication skills in English.
  • Confidence to work across business, finance, cybersecurity, architecture, internal service providers, and external partners.
