Vattenfall is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their cloud operations team. This role involves ensuring a stable and evolving cloud platform with a focus on network engineering, automation, scripting, and security. The position is permanent and full-time, with multiple location options across Europe.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network architectures including VPCs, subnets, routing, and private endpoints.
  • Automate network infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like PowerShell and Bicep.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues in cloud environments.
  • Manage Azure DevOps, including project creation, license management, and feature enablement.
  • Ensure proper usage of tagging, permission handling, naming, and policies for governance.
  • Provide advice on cloud consumption and understand the cloud financial model.
  • Guide projects with IT security for secure implementation and manage alerts from Azure Security Center.
  • Troubleshoot OS issues with Windows and Linux.

Krav

  • Academic Degree in IT, engineering, science or mathematics.
  • Experience with cloud services.
  • Experience in a large international environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to translate complicated technical matters into simple understandable language.
  • Background in network engineering with a broad and versatile profile and deeper technical knowledge in one or several areas.
  • Ability to code and/or script.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • T-shaped skill profile with expertise in Network in Cloud environments.
  • Basic understanding of OS, Backup, Security, Databases, Web, Azure PaaS Services.
  • Interest in new technologies and a fast learner.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to develop to a T-Shaped Cloud Specialist.
  • Knowledge in designing and operating Next Gen Firewall Environments, ideally Check Point.
