The Warehouse Clerk for the 2nd Shift in Lancaster, Texas, is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of inbound loads and outbound customer shipments. This role involves collaborating with various departments, utilizing WMS for generating reports and documents, and maintaining high service levels.

Ansvarsområden

  • Monitor merchandise received and shipped from facility, noting shortages and overages.
  • Log inbound and outbound discrepancies, including wrong product, incorrect quantity, and damages.
  • Prepare routine reports and file shipping/receiving documents.
  • Communicate with the Front Office clerk for ordering supplies and limit access to the dock.
  • Work with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude to achieve organizational goals.
  • Understand inventory layout and communicate with clamp operators and carriers for schedules.
  • Effectively use WMS for generating pick-lists, put away lists, load sheets, and outbound BOLs.

Krav

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving Office Clerk responsibilities.
  • Operational experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of SAP.
  • Experience working with a variety of WMS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on results.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Creative problem solver, ready to take ownership of assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP, Warehouse management systems, SAP, etc.
