Atlas Copco is seeking a Chief Accountant in Belgrade, Serbia to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with local and group standards, and manage financial reporting. This role requires a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, 3-5 years of experience, and fluency in Serbian and English.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead and oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and statutory regulations as well as Group standards.
- Manage general ledger, purchase, sales, and stock accounting processes within the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow, assets, inventories, and receivables.
- Support forecasting and financial follow-up together with Business Control.
- Ensure strong internal controls and support internal and external audits.
- Develop and improve accounting procedures, systems, and reporting tools.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external authorities.
- Support risk management and insurance coordination.
- Oversee HR administration compliance related to employment documentation and statutory reporting.
Krav
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, ideally in an international environment.
- Local certification to perform accounting activities.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting, tax, and fiscal regulations.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Fluency in Serbian and very good command of English.
