Atlas Copco Serbia is seeking a Chief Accountant in Belgrade to lead daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with local and group standards, and support business performance. The role requires a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and local accounting certification.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead and oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and statutory regulations as well as Group standards
- Manage general ledger, purchase, sales, and stock accounting processes within the ERP system
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing activities
- Monitor cash flow, assets, inventories, and receivables
- Support forecasting and financial follow-up together with Business Control
- Ensure strong internal controls and support internal and external audits
- Develop and improve accounting procedures, systems, and reporting tools
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external authorities
- Support risk management and insurance coordination
- Oversee HR administration compliance related to employment documentation and statutory reporting
Krav
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, ideally in an international environment
- Local certification to perform accounting activities
- Strong knowledge of local accounting, tax, and fiscal regulations
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Fluency in Serbian
- Very good command of English
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
- Structured and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and shared service environments
- Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and accountability
- Effective communication skills and ability to support business stakeholders
